is grateful I have only to be myself
If I’ve got it worked out right, Lourdes in San Diego should get her four-pack of books on the exact day of her birthday, October 17. Wow, this one worked out well, with a four-for-the-price-of-three deal, also. I feel the refreshing feeling up my back coming on now :) (They were Harlequin romances and a John Maxwell book.)

Well, Elizabeth in Wayzata, MN has got a birthday gift coming – her choice, based on her Amazon wish list, of a CD called With Lasers, by Bonde do Rolê. I sure hope she has some fun with it. I feel good.

I looked for someone with a birthday coming up in a week, so it should arrive in time. John from New York City, will get the CD, Hélène Grimaud plays Chopin & Rachmaninov, the latest addition to his wish list, gift wrapped, along with a birthday greeting! Wow, what a concept! I suppose this would fit into the idea of doing a “random act of kindness,” an enticing idea on 43 Things, and elsewhere.
I won’t really know if he really likes his gift. I just have to trust that what he put on his wish list is still desired. But, a spontaneous gift from the universe – it will certainly be a surprise. May it make his day.

It feels great to give in an open hearted way! It’s blissful!
I just sent off a copy of Memories, Dreams, Reflections by Carl Jung to the amazing Soaring Heart on amazon.com. I have benefitted greatly from her reviews and lists over the years and I’m glad to have purchased her something that she really wanted, according to what she wrote on her wish list. I’ve wanted to do that for a while. I’ll definitely be doing this again, maybe more randomly next time.

I’d like to continue this every month, but right now it’s not a feasible thing for me. Perhaps I will start this up again when my financial situation looks better.

Okay, this gift subscription was not random or on these people’s wish list. I’ve been wanting to get Jerry and his wife a subscription to this magazine for probably more than a year and I finally did it.
Just did it this evening. Hope they appreciate and love the magazine as much as I do. It has so many wonderful articles that encompass the mind, body, spirit, family, life, etc.
One thing, though, that I do not like about the magazine is that I always get mine 1-2 weeks INTO the month, whereas other magazines I get a week or so before the month.

I bought 3 DVD players this week. One of which we will give away as a door prize or something for our video production business. It turned out to be a better DVD player than we were going to give away, but that’s okay.
It feels good to give.
God has been blessing our video production business with business. Albiet it’s not big sums of money, but every little bit counts. Thank you Jesus!!! God is so good.

I blessed someone who did a review on John C Maxwell’s book, “Failing Forward” with a CD—Matt Redman’s “Facedown”. It is an awesome CD. Can’t even remember the person’s name, but it doesn’t matter. Hope he is blessed by it and pays it forward to someone else, or just realizes that God is amazing.
January completed.

He suggested this from a post that Ooty wrote that I responded to regarding Starbucks blessing. So, I figure when I have a little money to spare, I might just look through some people’s wishlists and for those that might have a good review of a book that touched or helped me, I might just bless them with something on their wishlist.
That would be cool, wouldn’t it?
