pay my back taxes

Disorganization and lack of money – the two things that are anathema to paying your taxes on time. Throw in the government and it’s a trifecta guarantee for late taxes.

the payment was scheduled to go through electronically today. I am officially in the black w/ the IRS. My pockets are really hurting right now, but in the end, it is worth it.

I just finished at the eftps.com site and arranged for the payment to go through on Tuesday, March 6. I will remove it from my list of things on Tuesday…whoo hoo!

I got paid yesterday but am having trouble getting my check cashed. I usually put it in as cash, but they won’t let me deposit as such. I tried to cash it from the bank from which it is drawn and again, they are giving me trouble because I don’t have a credit card. Well forgive me for trying to get my credit back together! So, I did not pay my taxes yesterday. I went to a check cashing spot near my job but they closed at 7p. Today they close at 8p, so I am going to get a work out in . . and head home to cash the check. Part of me is like I should just deposit it and wait the 2-3 days . . . something I don’t want to do, but it would be better than losing like 5% of my check in fees. I will figure it out before weeks end. I guess I will sign up for direct deposit after all . . . yuck!

So looking forward to it, I don’t even know what to say!

to pay my back ones from 2002 and 2004. So all that I am left with is 252.96. I will officially be able to take this off of my list at the end of this month/beginning of next month. Looking forward to it!

I had a sizable return due to me, but I got it snatched up because I owe. But at least it is money that I did not have and it is not like I had to budget it in. The sad thing is that even though I gave up almost 2g’s, I still owe another 275. I should have that paid by March. Keep focused man, focused….
