katiego3 is trying to find a reasonable goal to acheive
Remember everyone, you need to be committed to own a boarder collie. On average, boarder collies should run 93 miles/150 km per day, or else they will go mentally insane and tear up your house. Don’t abuse them by making them sit around the house all day.

I gave $100 in deposit money to a Border Collie breeder to hold onto a puppy for me when their upcoming litter is born. My parents told me no more dogs, as I have three American Eskimos, but I have the feeling that if I bring a puppy home, they’ll fall in love. It’s something I feel I need to do for myself.
Getting a Border Collie will help me in many ways. I want to do agility, obedience, and I want to have my dog become a certified service dog.
This is going to help me quit smoking (so I can do agility!) and to help me exercise more. Plus, I will finally have my favourite breed of dog.
Puppies are due around Mother’s Day, and I’ll be able to take mine home in the end of June. :)
Wish me luck!

I used to live with ‘Annie’ The most amazing dog I ever got to know. When I get a place of my own someday down the road I plan on having a border collie as my companion. The one I got to know was sooo loving and had such a great personality. !!!!

We finally got our new pup. Lovin’ it. She’s a rescue mix, border and aussie. So cute.

I live with 5 border collies. They are a magnificent pack. But, the girls typically get to work, doing what they were shaped (selectively bred) to do – herd sheep. Most should not really be pets – they make up some interesting games when they get bored; those games can get pretty destructive. But, some are sent to you by some spiritual force that I just can’t explain.
I try to keep a ‘these dogs are work partners’ attitude towards them, but … it’s hard. They bring so much more to my life than just as a farm tool. The Hope dog, in particular, is my true soul mate. She … I have no words to describe the intensity of her sweetness.

Everything that you like about dogs is distilled into its purest form in the border collie: enthusiasm for life, joy, loyalty, devotion, love, beauty, intelligence, wit (yes!), playfulness, energy, companionship…

Best breed of dog out there! Hard work and patience needed but the rewards are great. Never get a more loyal and hard to please companion.

He was the most intelligent, loving, affectionate and loyal dog that I ever had. He was always doing these really weird things to make me laugh, Then one day someone shot him on me.

Border Collies are my life. We breed them and have a beautiful 4 legged family. They are the best dogs in the world to own. Our website to our family is www.jordyalanbordercollies.com

I did this in Sept ‘05 and she’s the most fun, sweet, clever being in the world. Hard work, but worth it.
