My passion for photography was revived when I participated in a National Geographic workshop in Tuscany in 2007. I love to click away…and want to believe I’m good at it! I’m always told your shud pursue what your heart loves doing the most…..and in my case…I sure feel spl and connected behind the lens! I cnt wait for destiny to land me a photographers job at natgeo….so I make my own destiny by clicking away and postin them on flickr! and the satisfaction…priceless!! 2 years ago

I finished up a career in real estate and now want to use my creative talents (Studied film making at Northwestern) I got side tracked making money and now think my 2nd half of life should be more creative.

I have a college friend who works for National Geographic Explorer TV show…time to give him a call!

I want to be and i don’t know how to do this.
I am an unemployed computer science engineer and as I have not enough money, I don’t have a good camera, but i want to be..

Well, I’ve started up darkroom black and white photography with my old pentax instead of just the usual digital slr stuff. It’s going. Hopefully I’ll be able to get to color photography soon. 5 years ago

NG started up a new section where readers submit photographs to be published in the magazine. So, if a photo of mine would chosen I would technically be a National Geographic photographer. :) Now to get a good photo to submit. 5 years ago

Wow, I didn’t think there’d be anyone else with the dream of becoming a photographer for NG. I’ve been reading it since forever, and love the pictures, but I need suggestions on what kind of good camera to get and good schools to go to for photography. That would be so amazing. 6 years ago
