Be an example of Christ to others.

I believe if I walk into the Light of Christ and try to become as perfect as Him and obey His commandments while here on earth then the light in me would shine and others will look at me and hopefully see that its the Christ in me and will see me as an example of Christ and follow my lead

I think I am to a point where I can see people for who they are- imperfect beings created in the image of a perfect God. I am determined to continue growing in this area and learning how to be a better example of the One who gives me perpetual hope.

Use my gifts to reach out to others, not to judge, but to love.

I want to bring Christ to the rest of the world. I want others to see the Light of Christ. For those out in the world, I advise you to pray daily.

I hope I have been an example. The past week I went on a mission trip, I think that counts.

Dear bothers in Faith, we are too sinful to even direct our eye towards Christ’s perfection and innocence. The most we can do is to piously watch undoubtedly the best Christ video around, which summarizes His work on Earth.

For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps. (1 Peter 2:21)

This can be done daily in so many ways. Sometimes we are “christ-like” by example and don’t even realize it!

I really just want to live a life in which Christ can be clearly seen. I want to show more of His love, compassion and meekness; to serve like Him; to speak life like Him… Some days I feel so… Christyish [yeah I made it up] that it’s crazy; when I give a random person a ride home in the cold or visit a sick or shut in person and just sit with them or whatever, but there are other times when opportunties like that don’t arise (or I don’t arise to the opportunity) when I feel like such a failure. Oh and lets not even talk about my friggin’ tongue… I’m always struggling with making my words to people more edifying and as soon as I know anything I’ve thoughtlessly said something hurtful or offensive; even jokingly. It’s pretty annoying actually, yet I am so determined to improve daily and not dwell on shortcomings, but it’s still annoying though…

This past Thursday and Sunday, I went to the ecclesia because I knew God wanted me there, not for my husband or because I had a duty. I think that’s the first time I’ve done anything for God since I’ve moved here and it was such a relief. I’ve been really worried about my spirituality since I moved and was wondering how I’d ever accomplish this goal. But maybe it will happen after all.

This is dependent upon many physical goals before I can calm down, read the Bible, meditate and do Bible study. If I do those things I will be back on track.
