Everything I’ve planted has died :( I was great at gardening years ago, now I can’t seem to do anything! I really want to learn more and get a garden going in spring 09. I’d even like to get a few house plants to live…

definitely gonna get out in the yard and start the fall clean up. I haven’t been out in the back much this summer – it rained alot here and that brings mosquitoes, so everything is overgrown = should be a real workout. i’ll have to pace myself or i’ll end up doing myself an injury!! gettin old

Hey – I’m researching community gardens this summer in NYC, specifically children’s uses of them. Anyone know some good volunteering ops at gardens on the Lower East Side?

So I think actually doing something productive, beautiful and nourishing in all senses might just be something I can get behind. Do I know how to garden? No, but I’m learning.
What better way to impact your environment and yourself in a concrete way?

We bought this house last summer and couldn’t wait for Spring to come so we could work in the flowerbeds. It’s been fun so far, even though all I’ve planted is a Hydrandgea (sp?)

I think my thyme is dead…
