volunteer at a food bank

usually I get this very good, dutiful feeling when I do this…

there was a phase where I was like, “I wanna do this because I feel like it! Not because I have to…”

but lately.. I’ve gotten lazy about it, so it’s to the point where I have to ‘cause of National Honor Society..

You really realize how truly lucky you are to have food, water, etc. Its a great experience!

....yet it was never enough. There were always more and more applicants coming in for help. Resources were tight, the employees cheerful and the operation continues one day at a time.

It is a worthwhile experience. It helps me to be grateful for everthing that I have.

Help to coordinate a group of friends to volunteer for Northwest Harvest on a regular basis.
