finish a blanket

admittedly the pattern for this bad boy taught me the meaning of “gauge.” as in, my gauge is completely off. Oh well. i put it away for at least a year, and now i’m working on the edging for it. i figure that it’s at least good for keeping me warm, not so much for admiring the handicraft of it all.

it’s quite satisfying to look at, and i can’t wait to fall asleep under it!

I used my yarn from Ebay and finished up that blanket.

I also made a baby blanket in 2 days while I was on vacation.

I’m not too far from finishing another one that I’ve been working on for only 3 weeks.

It feels good.

I just won 23 skeins of Teal #388 Red Heart yarn off of Ebay. I’ve been searching for this out-of-stock color for two years, and I finally hit the jackpot. I have a blanket out of this color that is about 90% finished. Having this yarn will allow me to finally get down to business and finish my favorite blanket EVER. I’m so excited beyond belief. =D

I finished a blanket that I started after getting my puppy, but that doesn’t count in my book. It was too simple. There are specifically 3 blankets that I have in mind that have yet to be completed.
