I have still only read the Intro. I have actualy decided to read it a second time. There are alot of concepts that I need to wrap my head around further before I completely immerse myself the way that I would like to.
Even the concept of KARMA, is much deeper than I have even thought about. ( and i analyze everything) The connotation is just amazing.
I never realized how much this would be related to alot of the Christian ideals. I should have known, right. I really want to take my time with this one.

I added this, becuase I tried to read it once in college, but just couldn’t get through it.
get the stephen mitchell translation- it retains much of the original poetic quality. if you’re interested in religion, this book is a must-read. it changed my entire perspective on life.

It was tough to get into but I ended up reading it all within 24 hours. Unfortunately I liked the last third the most. This third is, according to the author of my translation, deficient and simplistic compared to the first two thirds. Oh well. Mystic I am not.
Also, I’m not convinced why Arjuna should fight. Apparently Thoreau agreed.
