And I want to do this again, but I bet my sister won’t let me for quite some time, hehe.
Yesterday afternoon, I sent off the parcel. They should get it this week. I included a cute card and all my love for my sister’s little family. I still haven’t spoken to her, but I know she needs rest and timt to adjust, and since I’ve already had a chat with my new brother-in-law about his offspring and received a picture of my little nephew, I am satisfied and will wait for further news.
And no, I won’t post a pic of Elias online. Even he has a right to his image, which at this moment lies to be administeredby the proud parents.

My nephew Elias Johannes was born sometime this afternoon.
I just had a call from my mum, who is a proud grandmother now.
I’ve had some trouble making my bf pronounce “Elias” the German way (“ay-lee-us”), but it seems to be hard.
I am so chuffed that he’s finally arrived.
Apparently, me sister had to work really hard, starting last night at eleven, and 23 hours later, my mother got the proud father’s phone call. Elias has some amniotic fluid in his lungs, but I’ve been told he should be fine, and he and V. are staying in hospital overnight for observation.
I’ll send off the parcel on Monday.
Call me Auntie Red-B.

Great expectations… I’ve finished the box, with 6 CDs, (The Decemberists’s “Crane Wife”, Arctic Monkeys’s “Whatever people say I am, that’s what I’m not”, Coldplay’s “X&Y”, Stereophonics’s “You gotta go there to come back”, Jeff Buckley’s “Grace” and the Magic Numbers “Those the brokes”.)
I hope the soon-to-be parents like any of it, otherwise my laborous copying in work was for nowt.
Now it’s the wait for my nephew and for everything to go well with the birth.

I bought cute baby clothes and made the garland. Now I need to make a nice CD or two and wrap everything. And V. has to have a baby boy, otherwise I’ll have to start over.
