I know how, but I never do. I need to not waste it! AND I need to enjoy it. AND I will not get frustrated if I suck!

I’ve played my keyboard twice in the last two days, since moving it into the kitchen. If I keep it in the kitchen, maybe then I’ll keep being inspired to play it. Might be more difficult to do when I’m at home again.

Last weekend (not the one just gone, but the one before that) I practiced! I intend to bring my older, crappier but still beloved keyboard to uni with me tomorrow, I think I may be able to keep it in the cupboard.
I love to play the piano and I have one sitting in my dining room. It’s awful how many times I walk by it and never think about playing it. I did play it the other night though and I was amazed at how well I did. I am going to download some music from the internet and start practicing and playing more for my enjoyment.(at least once a week).
I think I need to be more specific about this. I already play the piano more than once a week, but it’s usually to accompany children’s songs for my son, or to learn the notes of new choir music. What I really want to do is play the piano for my own enjoyment—whatever I feel like playing. Years ago, I used to play when I was sad or mad or stressed out, and it always made me feel better.
