Read all of Edgar Allan Poe

Finished “Hans Pfaal” a while back. Hated it. Not a very interesting story and not very interestingly written. At least, it didn’t appeal to me. Then I read “The Gold Bug.” I understand that to be one of his classics, but I guess I missed a lot. But never fear—-I’m not giving up.

This morning, I started reading “The Unparalleled Adventure of Hans Pfaal.” I’ve started reading from DailyLit, and that’s the first story there.

I read a lot of his work anbout 15 years ago. It’s great to revisit it.
