throw my son a fun and fabulous belated birthday party

My son turned 8 last Monday, but we only managed to celebrate and throw him party on Saturday. I ordered a cake and some finger food, fried noodles, chicken nuggets and spring rolls, mixed endless jugs of root beer, etc. He proclaimed it’s his best birthday ever but reminded me I am yet to get him his gift. I didn’t forget, it’s just delayed.. ;)
