i’ve seen them about six times now, so maybe i’ll take a little break. i’ve actually been managing to see local bands enough that i keep seeing the same people, so now all the shows seem more like social events. and that’s sort of nice, but maybe also i should find a few new bands. plus i haven’t seen Your Loving Tiger in a while…

Thanks to a tip in Last.fm, I plan on watching this band when they go play at Saguijo. Here’s to hoping they do!

In the last year through some awfully poor relationships, I have bought very hard to find tickets to my favourite bands and never went, because I got stood up by the people I was going out with… and didn’t want to go by myself..
So what … This is my music.. and its important.. See you guys out there ;)

Easily my favourite local band these days. Amazingly great shows and three awesome CDs. You could listen to their CDs and think that there’s no way they could sound as good live, but oh they do!
I could easily launch into my diatribe about how sad it is that these guys don’t have national attention while the Big Record Companies and Corporate Radio continue to foist crap on music buyers day in and day out…but I’d rather tell you to just go see 20 Minute Loop when they come to your town!

I have found a few bands I really like. Sadly, one has now broken up. I had forgotten how much I like seeing local bands play live, and while I do enjoy getting out, I usually end up going by myself because the group of friends I have right now either aren’t into live music or not into the bands I enjoy, or they just don’t like leaving their homes. So if anyone out there is in the SF Bay Area and likes live indie-pop-rock kinds of shows, lemme know!
