My natural talent is in the social sciences despite my admiration for the hard sciences. Practice problems and meeting often with the professor to just talk made all the difference. I learned through working out the problems and my anxiety disappeared after talking with the professor.

I want to understand how everything works…understand the inner workings of the universe!

Just finished fluid dynamics (boring), moving onto thermodynamics (very interesting!)

Reading through Feynman’s lectures on physics and some of Stephen Hawking’s stuff.
Become fluent in all the relevant concepts. Be an expert in graduate-level stuff.
I’m pursuing a degree in physics right now, and I have to say every time I go to class it’s energizing. It really just makes you love reality. The thing is you only learn the basics in undergrad. Sure, this accounts for most of the things you come into contact with on a daily basis, but the really astounding stuff comes afterward.
I totally enjoyed this, but i’ve decided that i’m done studying it in an academic, formal way right now. I think i will always be interested in physics and its applications and i’ll still buy and read books on this field – i may even take some modular courses in it. However, i’m not going to go for a degree in it any time soon. I would like to pursue that later in life.
I don’t feel that i’m quitting this as i have already studied physics for such a long time and learnt so much. Basically i feel like i have learnt physics :-)
Good luck to everyone else!
I’m learn Advanced Quantum Mechanics now. Can someone tell me how to learn it ? Thandk you!
