Haha. I’ve eaten more over the past year. I haven’t ate that much meat any more I’ usually eat veggies now. I’m wondering about buying those veggie and snack combo packs at wal mart. It looks so good.

forced into it... 8 months ago

My doctor forced me into it as my blood pressure was a tad on the higher side. I feel much better though. The BP has returned to normal and somehow I feel like I have much more energy. Apparently, my body was having trouble processing animal fat.

Who doesn’t need to eat more veggies and fruits?! Sad thing is I grew up eating SO much fruit and maybe that’s why I don’t as much anymore. Shame!! Even worse, I still love fruit…so what’s my excuse? Veggies on the other hand…that will always be a challenge!

One of the reasons I still haven't moved out of home... 3 years ago

I have grown up in a house overflowing with vegetables and fruits.

My parents have an enormous vegetable garden with:
tomatoes, carrots, corn, spinach, silverbeat, eggplant/aubergine, zucchini/corgettes, capsicum, cucumber, beans, peas, pumpkin, potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, asparagus, artichokes, parsnips, turnip, squash, and various other things from time to time.

As well as the herbs: garlic, basil, parsley, rosemary (a 1m tall bush), thyme, margarom, bay leaves (a tree), corriander, etc.

As well as the following fruit trees: apple, plum, apricot, peach and berries (strawberries, raspberries, loganberries, red currants).

To supplement this, we go to the local fruit and veg markets most weeks.

It’s hard when I travel to get anywhere near as much nutrients as I get at home to stay healthy.

It didnt take long for them to cook, just a few seconds on each side with some drizzle of olive oil, salt/pepper and a little dash of garlic salt. Yummmmie.

I havent eaten them since I was a kid, I never liked them. What a delight, I stir fried them with lots of garlic and ground black pepper and some salt and wa-laa—it was very good. I will eat them again.
I still dont like Asparagus – ughhhhh
