I saw Chicago on Broadway in New York :) I would love to see Phantom of the Opera, even though ive seen it many times in my city.

I’ve always enjoyed plays and such, and never seen one on Broadway. I have no excuse as I even LIVE in New York (about 1-1/2 hours from NYC). One of these days, I’m going to get tickets and drag my husband (yes, I would have to drag him) and enjoy it. I just think it’s so over priced, but maybe once I’ve been to one I won’t think so.
I waited in line one day for two hours to get half priced tickets…then found out it was cash only. The next day I went back with my friend and got tickets to see a show on Broadway, but was somewhat disappointed with the show. But it was still fun and worth it!
When I was in high school, the drama club took a trip to NYC the week after Christmas. I was able to see two Broadway plays- Sunset BLVD and Grease!
Changed my life. I didn’t even want to see this play and my best friend MADE me go. Now I see it as one of the best experiences of my life.
Monty Python’s Spamalot.
Great Play, I went when I was in NY this past spring.
definintly a fun and great experience

I’M FROM PUERTO RICO, BUT I’VE VISITED NEW YORK CITY TWICE. ON BOTH OCCASSIONS I HAD THE BLESSING OF BEING ABLE TO ATTEND A BROADWAY PLAY. I saw THE LION KING during my first stay and WICKED on my second. Both prodcutions were wonderful – I cried during both from mere excitement (I couldn’t believe I was actually there).
Here in Puerto Rico, a movie ticket goes for about $5.50 – and I feel it’s a waste of my money (I’m a bit picky about movies) but I can spend 20 or 30 times that on a musical ticket and it’s worth it every time.
I’ve lived in New York City all my life, just blocks away from Braodway, and I’ve never seen a play. I’m dying to see Avenue Q and Spamalot.
Cats, Mame (with Angela Lansbury in the lead), 42nd Street… all worth it, and worth doing again and again.
