I hope my other 43Ters are doing ok. I had turned my attention elsewhere. Feeling quite unsettled of late. Sense of frustration in most aspects of my life, though progress is being made, no recognition, no celebration. Just living. Enjoying, but it passes like light and shadow, can’t even remember yesterday.

so I’ll be going offline. I’ll be back in a little while, hope you have plenty of fun while I’m gone, and share a little with me when I get back!

This week has been pretty nuts at work, closings bring chaos, and we’re in the middle of two of them. So I have a stressed mind and am still working hard on my morning routine. Owe plenty of replies and cheers and emails, so please, don’t anybody take it personally. I don’t understand why, but I can spend hours sitting at the compy, yet not feel “caught up.”
There’s plenty of good going on, but I’m just not slowing down enough to appreciate it fully. Yoga and gratitudes would help beat stress but both have been ploughed under by exhaustion and a literal pain in the butt (pulled something doing yoga last week.)
I haven’t read a book in ages. I bet that would chill me right out, but last night when I finally thought I’d start one, I ended up falling asleep with the reading lamp in my eyes, book untouched.

On the farm we built hay bale forts and snow forts. We had a treehouse (no, we never put a nail in a tree, just “dwelled” in the branches of a favorite climbing tree). I had a little secret house with several rooms inside the thicket of an ancient lilac bush, and forged tunnels under the long leaf-curves of day lilies.
So this is my new little hideout. No goals here. I’ve noticed other 43T-ers have created similar spots among their things, places to ask questions and share random thoughts, and to not overdo the thread-hijacking. Today, after visiting a couple of other hideouts and aviaries, I decided it was time to build a playfort among my own things. Stay as long as you like.
