to keep up with this goal. I might just be one of those people who has to break down the baby steps into even smaller baby steps :o(
How I did it: I had an AhhHaa moment when I was trying to once again to add Flylady's weekly plan to my 2009 calendar around all my family's activities. I realized that I had already fallen into a weeky plan naturally. So I wrote down the days of the week and what I usually do on them. Next I listed what I did with my morning and evenings before and after work. Then I compared what I was accomplishing regularly in my routine to the ta… Read how I did it…

Starbear is going to stop wasting time right now
Just popping in before putting on the washing machine. No Flying this week. The major thing to suffer is our laundry (ops! better get some in from outside too.) haphazard preparation has meant we have had home-made frozen food. DH has really been great with DS and taken him on adventures or played with him every day which is fab.
Found my cheques in my briefcase feew! Give them to supervisor and in is going to take them to the venue by hand.
Out with a mate all day tomorrow boys off to rugby with DH’s school. I can do some flying on Sunday morning and we will have to have a very easy meal for dinner to help me get back on track as I’ll be working 4 days next week & five the following very little time to get fit as well which was part of the plan!
Starbear is going to stop wasting time right now
I write out things to do list the night before using previous lists. So as I only have Monday & Friday at home I have a Friday Fly list & a Monday Fly list. In the morning I then post it on Mumsnet and enjoy mark the items done at the end of the day with others doing the same thing. Things not done get carried over some get done in the evenings or weekends.
The only problem with Mumsnet I getting bogged down communicating with strangers instead of people in real life. I’m going to have to find a satisfying way of ticking off the items done with out getting involved with people online sadly as I’m getting very little back from it. I should be spend more time with people in RL. Off to sit on the sofa with my lovely DH now.
I seem to be having some problems because I am 8 months pregnant and have been ordered to lie down when I’m not working. I’m going to start where I am and go on. I can’t do more than that. I just wish I had started earlier when I didn’t have an excuse. Oh, well, you live and learn. I’m not kicking myself. It won’t do any good.
mmefaucon is now two score and seven years.
My big snag was keeping a nighttime routine, and dealing with my family’s needs at the same time. Also, I joined their online group and felt overwhelmed by the amount of e-mails/assignments I received very day.
Need to begin again … soon.

Hestia74 is in a state of thanksgiving...
Today I bought a proper carrier for baby made of cotton, and which can be used in five different ways. It can hold from a tiny newborn to a potty-training toddler… I plan on trying it tomorrow at home for the first time, see how it works…

Now that baby’s here is more important than ever to have a firm routine established in the mornings and in the evenings. But since I arrived home with the baby from the hospital it has been quite a struggle to get things done…
My mom stayed with us during the first week after I arrived from the hospital, and she was a big help. But after she was gone, it has been difficult for me to get back on track with the routine I had established before the baby was born. The thing is, baby is already used to being in my arms, and if he is not deeply asleep, I have to carry him in my arms, or stay beside him on the bed. I tried carrying him in a sling for a few days, but after a few minutes in it, he starts fussing and moving about.
Yesterday I bought 4 yards of cotton fabric to make a “wrap” so I can carry him close to my body. If he likes it, I will be able to not only reestablish my routine, but to study heavier for my bar exam. Let’s see how that works…
