own a vacation home

I’ve been checking out lake houses and if the market stays the way it is and I put my nose to the grindstone it may be possible to buy my own little piece of contentment by next summer.

Things to do before I can even consider getting a realtor:
-Pay off credit card
-Pay off home improvements (windows,outdoors)
-Purchase 2nd car
-Get this blasted house in order

That’s a start.

This seems kind of silly on my list. You know, sandwiched in between “get out of debt” and “pay off my student loans.”

I see this one as more of a long term goal with the others being short term.

See, my head is screwed on tightly! :)

I saw my 6 year old ski for the first time and had the time of my life! My 4 year old isn’t far behind and it it would be amazing to see the 4 of us enjoy this time together – would like to have a year round destination place.
