Move to Eugene, Oregon

So i’ve been living in Eugene for the past 3 months and have enjoyed the hell out of it. It is beautiful with plenty of interesting tid bits all over town. I love it!! I love it !!

Moved in with a boyfriend who I shouldn’t have…had to compute to my job…not a good decision on my part. The city itself is pretty nice…just wasn’t a good decision for me.

Good luck finding jobs here. It’s an amazing town otherwise – lots of art and music going on, liberals running about rampant, and quite a collection of restaurants and shopping for such a small place. I’ll gladly tell you what I know about Eugene if you want to know the ups, downs, ins and outs.

-I have called a few different places about apartments. They said to call closer to time, so I’m calling again soon.
-I’m accepted into Lane Community College for their Winter Quarter.
-I’ve accepted the loans.
-I have a number to arrange Mental Health services for Eric, my friend/roommate/ex.
-I’ve done a city comparison online.
-I’ve done an online map from here (Saint Paul) to Couer d’Alene Idaho. I hope to stay overnite there before going on to Eugene.

What’s left?

-I need to call the local police about the areas I’m looking into
-I need to check more thoroughly about the job situation and start getting my resume out there, though I’d like a week or two of doing nothing and I will presumably have the money to pay ahead a month.
-Check out what’s in the neighborhoods online: Coffee Shops nearby, grocery shops, liquor stores, etc.
