My grandmother, Jean Weinbaum, lived with Crohn’s for over 70 years before passing on last December. Myself, I have colitis and IBS, so I know firsthand how debilitating these conditions can feel. I dedicated my donation to my grandmother, and I hope she would be pleased with that.

Over in the US of States, the morning is dawning when SEGSID will strap on her walking sandals and march for Crohn’s disease and colitis. But those of you who haven’t got around to sponsoring her yet, don’t despair! You can still give her money here so go and do it now, and make her efforts even more worthwhile than they already are.

Just want to say that I have have known three people in my life with Chrohns, one was a man I dated about 8 years ago, who ironically now lives back in Long Island where he was born and raised. One was a man who was just a friend in passing. He was a principal at an elementary school. The third person is the wife of my pastor.
