How to live in london"Amazing!"
How I did it: I worked abroad and lived in London through a program called BUNAC. I think it's easiest if you go through programs like this (because they help you obtain your working visa), or through your university. If you're not in college, take 3 classes at a community college, and you'll meet BUNAC's requirements. Lessons & tips:

How I did it: Just upped and moved...actually I got stuck there on a trip back from Gibralter and just stayed, but it was really worth doing. - Got a job pretty quickly at a call centre and then basically managed to survive and further develop my lifestyle. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I forgot this was on my list until I saw it again! How I did it? Impulsively! I quit my job and flew out to London. I enrolled in an arts program and plan to spend 6 months here preparing for grad school. It's been 2 weeks and I have an apartment, a phone number, a full class load, a shrinking bank account and a few of my old friends who study here. Still have to make some new ones among locals. Having been to the city many times before, I… Read how I did it…

How I did it: Like at least one other 43thing'er, I worked abroad and lived in London through the program called BUNAC. BUNAC has quite a few programs, some of which you have to be a student but there are others that you don't. You do have to be a student for the London program. The program helps you with getting the working visa and they take care of all the legal paperwork for you.Well, I was in grad school, and within 2 months of being there I wreck… Read how I did it…

A loft in London, preferably Soho.

I visited London last year for a week and loved it. It’s so diverse and rich in history. And free museums!!!(YAHOOO). The train systems were awesome. I just wish had more time to explore more. I so could see myself living there. The weather is a bit yucky but I could overlook that to live there.

After two years of dreaming and contemplating leaving Vancouver to live in London, I have finally prepared myself to go. My visa is intact, my flight has been booked and London awaits. In a about two months, I’ll be starting my adventure in a whole new city. New places, new faces, new spaces. I’m looking forward to checking this off my life list.

i’d like to spend my time split between new york, london and sg if i could. but it seems so far fetched. im gonna try none the less.
Something I’ve always wanted to do. Have traveled abroad and spent long stays in Central America, Germany and France. I’m now older. More responsible and not so idealistic. Yet this urge to find out if living and working in London, England for an indefinite period of time is a realistic possibility continues to reveal itself time and again. I don’t know really how to go about it or if it’s possible.
