write another book

and thought it would be fun to use at some point. It’s from an old book, Vermont – It’s Resources and Opportunities by Walter H. Crockett and published in 1916.

and character names are things that are coming to me lately. There are names that I associate with people I have known in my life and will impact how I use them. Evan – is a name I associate with an extremely smart person. Could I use this name for a physicist? I think so. But some names just have a time period written all over them. My Grandma’s name was Mabel. Not a name anyone names their babies anymore. But it’s something I could definitely use for historical fiction, can’t I?

So, I’m listing names and giving them personality qualities and will contemplate how I will use them throughout the story. I’m enjoying this!

a new book and with it comes inspiration. Feels good!

yay me!

Writing for publication, especially if your publisher loved your first work, is invigorating because you can delve into any school of thought and come away with a better understanding of yourself and the ambient world.

one book down, one more book, then the ebook series…

I can check this goal. Everything is written. not everything is typed. i’m currently typing chapter 11. And it’s far more difficult for me to type than to write. I had been mostly typing it until now, but I sensed I had to write the end. I feel it more this way, more plundged in the ambiance, and I needed that, especially for the chapter Catacombs.

So I finished chapter 10 : doutes/doubts
Chapter 11 is : Le carnet de Kim Matters / Kim Matters’s book
Chapter 12 is : La boîte à musique / The music box
Chapter 13 is : Catacombes / Catacombs
Chapter 14 is : Délivrance / Deliverance

Of course, as I know me, it’s possible I changed oneor two things while I type. But the story is here. Finally, I decied to re-write my first book, and actully, I kept the lign, but I mostly re-wrote everything. I think 30% of the book still resemble the original lol There’re some answers in that first opus, but also lots of questions. I had a good teacher. And so I’ve got solid basis for my second book in terms of mythology. The story will be different. Si I still have to finish to type, and to bring some corrections I think, because I don’t use the subjonctive preterit in the first person everyday. I feel a bit rusty of my 7th grade classes.

I didn’t think I could make it. Ok, I’ve slept an average of 4 hours a night recently, but it was worth it. Usueless to say i’m on my knees. I think the book will be ready totally ready for next week. Maybe I will make an artwork cover for it, and order a model on lulu.com, or something in the kind. I think by Fiiday i’m gonna sleep a little more, too.

to make a break. Finally I only could work on the book on Thursday from 2/3 pm to 5pm, on Friday from 2pm to 5pm, not on Saturday. I worked a lot on Sunday, and a little this morning (yeah some sleep, he?)

I mostly wrote all chapter 6 (kept the title, for now at least)
chapter 7 : les hologrammes/the holograms
chapter 8 : quelques mots/some words
long chapter 9 : si le soleil se lève/ if the sun rises up

and I’ve started chapter 10, currently no title.

It’s really against all odds :)

I have 10 days to finish that book. It looks pretty improbable that I can make it, but I’m gonna try. It’s 12.40 pm. At the last minute. I’m crazy. But it’s this way I like it, and love myself the more. LOL. See you in 10 days.
