Tidy my home and keep it tidy

I admitted defeat on Friday and asked Mum to visit for the weekend to help me tidy and go shopping etc. So yesterday we tidied my bedroom and kitchen. Just the lounge left to sort. Then I have to find a home for everything. Then I have to keep it presentable.

I’ll class this task finished once the flat has been consistantly tidy for at least two months.

Would love to be tidy.

Ive been sat on my bed since half past eight and so far, I have done nothing. I am determined to make my room a beauty starting now!!

Nowhere to shift anything to get it out of the house. As I can’t drive, I can’t take any of this shit to the landfill or recycling. As I have no money I can’t pay for help. I am totally reliant on husband, who just does not see any problem (or won’t acknowledge it as such).
I need to formulate an action plan I can achieve! First goal is to make a list of the sort of things I can shift out to the garbage bin.
Second thing will be to come up with what I can do about the rest!

I’m getting there bit by bit….

i try but hey my mum keeps on doing the usual putting things wea they dont belong but i love her coz shes mumand thats just her.

its a progressive goal cause i do it whenever it gets untidy iv lost enthusiasm for this cause my mum stacks things wereva n doesnt help so its up to me to arrange put things back to order we are painting our house tommorrow i hope the new look will give me reason enough to have enthusiasm.

I think part of the reason I’m so bad at this is that it feels like every time I tidy up it get’s really messy again.

Both me and my girlfriend are both really messy so we do argue sometimes over tidying up and neither of us want to do it.

I think if I can just do one big push to sort out the entire flat, then I may even keep it tidy.

Another goal that has no expiration date. I have put in place a number of systems (including a housekeeper every other week) that have made this goal a lot easier to keep. That said, things can go south quickly with inattention!

Until further notice this challenge is beat!
