Getting there... 11 hours ago

I have an extension because one of my employers hadn’t sent me my group certificate when I had worked. Have received that now so I will do my tax return this week.

Wonderful financial blessings flow into my life.

Thankyou for all the fortune that already exists in my life.

I spend some, I save some, I donate some…

Money flows into my life in an abundant & loving way

Thankyou

this week is getting busy – but I have made the appointment for October 12. Plenty of time to get the receipts and pay slips together before then! Hopefully a nice return is on the way:)

It was nice making business with you, but now... GIVE IT BACK! 15 months ago

This has to be done, i get for last year several hundert euro back, cause i’m student and just worked a half year. I need the money for moving into and paying my new apartment, and no no no way i will grant it my government by forgetting this to do. Patriotism, above all mine, has it’s limits!!
Don’t know about deadlines yet…

$1,100 here we come 2 years ago

Submitted it at midnight last night. Easy.

Cheque in the Mail 3 years ago

I had my appointment with the tax accountant yesterday afternoon and within half an hour had my tax return completed for 2006. It took only a few hours to structure my tax rebates and yet I had managed to avoid it for so long… such is life.

My return this year exceeded the total rebate of last which I was happy about, I’m never one to be satisfied with going backwards even in something as menial as a tax return. In the coming weeks, I should have a nice cheque arriving in the mail and will then be glad that I finally got my act together.

Disorganisation is now being Reconciled 3 years ago

Every year the financial year escapes me with grand intentions of completing my annual return within a month of its completion. Yet, somehow my remarkable plans always succumb to the busyness of life and my tax return is relegated to many months thereafter when life slows down and the due date is long passed. However, as the matter impressed itself upon me today, I got my act together – organised my group certificates and related documents and took the first step of booking an appointment with my tax accountant tomorrow.

There are only a few loose ends to tie up tonight before I meet with the accountant tomorrow at 1:00… Progress is being made!

show me the money! 3 years ago

The ATO sent me a letter yesterday- they have processed my tax return, and deposited all the tax I payed in the last financial year into my bank account!

Ah, the joys of being a student, and having an income under the tax free threshold! Those days are gone now…

Yay for compulsory saving via the Australian Taxation Office! 3 years ago

I have done my tax return!

The form was annoying, it took about an hour…
But, because my income for the year is under the threshold, I get money back! (Next year will be a different story… I might need to find myself an accountant…)

I posted it this afternoon.
So, now I’m just waiting for my money!
Yay for compulsory saving via the Australian Taxation Office!
