Taz Smile and no one knows what you're up to ;)
spent an hour or so making lots and lots of paper snowflakes. Then we threaded them together and we now have them gently swaying in both the front windows.

smartstuff dear 43ers: thank you for not being awful people
The best snowflake paper I have found cheap is to get those urn (3, 6 or 10 gallon) paper coffee filters. A nice thinner texture than most printer paper, with already rounded edges (no “short side” to contend with).
But I don’t know exactly where to get them here. Presuably I can go down to the restraunt supply stores down on Bowery, but everywhere I have looked closer to my office doesn’t sell them.
Tomorrow I will have to see if I can run down after work, but I don’t know exactly where any of those shops are, and I don’t know how late they’ll stay open, given that most of their sales come from commercial businesses.
