How I did it: Went ziplining in Monteverde (in Costa Rica). It was gorgeous to see the rainforest below/around you. It ended up costing me about $20...since my host-mom knew how to get good deals! I also went on the Tarzan swing and ziplined superman style (face first, suspended by a harness on your back).

How I did it: I was on a vacation in Whistler, BC with my friend and we decided it might be fun to go. How I did it: SO FUN! If fear is your hang-up no worries! There's just no way to fall on those cables...they're 10 times safer than a car. I went in Costa Rica and it's such a feeling of freedom yet, power. Why power? Sometimes you get "stuck" on the line - usually if you're a smaller/lighter person. YOU have to get yourself to the other side. Hand over hand. It's amazing. YOU are in control of yourself. Such a beautiful metaphor. Read how I did it…

How I did it: My dad, grandpa, and uncle all built one for me in my grandmas backyard. There was a gigantic platform at the top of one hill. Climb to the top of the platform, sit on the seat and fly across this gigantic ravine to the hill on the other side and land on your feet. SO much fun. And I could go anytime I wanted. How I did it: I went camping with friends this weekend and we went ziplining at Anchors Above in Pictou County. They strap you into all the necessary gear and give you a helmet. Then you hike uphill for about 10 to 15 mins. That's the hardest part of the whole thing. Once you reach the platform, someone will attach your harness to the zipline, and you just walk off the plank. The first line is longer at 1100 feet long and is about 240 ft off the ground… Read how I did it…

How I did it: Went to Tagaytay Highlands here in Phil. It only costs Php300 for a round trip back and forth. It was more of a random decision to do so. I live by the motto "You only live once" so I try to do as many crazy things that I can in this lifetime. It's funny how I have friends who share the same interests.     There’s a place in Kauai that offers side by side zip-lining through the rainforest & over a waterfall. My DH & I are planing an island adventure vacation to make up for the fact that we didn’t have much of a honeymoon. We’re also going ATV riding, swimming w/ dolphins & sea turtles, cliff diving and possibly touring an active volcano, but I’m not so sure about the molten lava thing.

    I can't say enough about this 3 months ago

    What a blast. We couldn’t stop screaming, cajoling, poking, grinning big goofy grins and out right laughing. The kids were taken totally by surprise and were so excited. I would recommend this to anyone.

    I would like to do some of it again. I let things like this get away from me when my children were young. Tomorrow I plan to introduce them to lines with zip-lining. They don’t know it yet. I can’t wait!

    There is a zip-line in the town that I go to college at. Me and my roommate have been talking about going for nearly a year now but there have been a few things in our way of going: the spare money, the extra time, the weather. Once we have all of those things in order we are going, despite my fear of heights, lol.
