Slowly but surely I am making headway. As long as I don’t succumb to the discouragement, I make more & more improvements.

I actually spent a good bit of time doing this last night and this morning. It can be so overwhelming though. especially because I have this awful habit of starting one thing and before it’s completed I start another. So I forced myself to do a bunch of small tasks-ones that I could easily complete. It was hard to stay focused though. I kept thinking I should do something bigger-something that would have a bigger impact. Funny thing was, all those little things really added up. My space is actually FEELING better to me. The flow in the living/dining area is much better-not done yet, but much better.
our plan for the future is to have a small laundry area, add a nice bathroom with a whirlpool tub, a small library, enterainment area, and computer section. This will take a few years I’m sure.
I’m helping husband make his own “computer room”, which we will still share I think anyway. It was dark and dingy. I cleaned out the cobwebs, swept the floor, and we threw a bunch of stuff away. He’s going to make some bookshelves.
I’m on vacation for 5 days till next Wednesday. Let’s see how motivated I can stay, and get some stuff done. Where do I start? Laundry, Toy room? Rest of Basement? Living Room(I really want to paint. Check budget).
That’s me. I need to get back on this one. I did lazily put some photos in an album today.
I threw out an old mattress, cleaned up daughter’s room, and straightened a cabinet.
I can start by spending no time on the computer, but I need practice typing. It does take some money to buy the organizational stuff. On the other hand, I want to save money for a car. I guess a few dollars every once in a while won’t hurt to have a nice home. The most frustrating part is that once I clean something up like the toy room, kids room, any room in just a few hours to days, it’s freekin messed again. We all are busy and don’t have all the time in the world for this. As long as we aren’t filthy, what does it matter? I know that I’m trying to justify the situation. Maybe when the kids are older, my house can be immaculate. Yea, Right!
