theonlycarmire is doing a whole bunch of homework
How I did it: I started by getting everything into piles which were organized by categories. From there, I threw a bunch of stuff away, and put a lot of other things away. Milk crates help a lot. Read how I did it…

FlyLady.net seems like a great tool to help me achieve this!
Amy Taylor has been working harder to work towards her goals.
The wall paper is all ripped and there is junk all over the bedroom floor.
Its so gross.
I haven’t got any money to re-decorate at the moment so i will have to stick with just cleaning which is fine by me as i plan to move out as soon as i get a job..
beckra just returned from Maui...wow, such beauty and FUN!!
I’m still working on this goal! I had my room in pretty good shape two months ago, and then it went all crazy again right before vacation, and it still hasn’t recovered.
I need to do another yard sale, though, and now is the perfect time to get organize.
Step 1. Put all clothes away. I have this really bad habit of washing everything I own and then multitasking during loads, forgetting that I still need to fold and put clothes away. So, right now I have a crazy mound of clothes spanning 2/3 of my room. Crazy.
Step 2. No, I think the put stuff away will be all I can handle today. I have choir practice tonight, so I won’t be home until late, and I need to wake up early.

This weekend I organized the top drawer of my nightstand, which was pretty messy. I placed three smaller boxes in it, to work as “compartments” inside the drawer. Then I separated whatever items I feel I need to have in that drawer by categories, one category per box.
It looks neat, and it’s functional, too! No more going through everything in the drawer each time I need to find a pen or my chapstick.

I’ve been putting love letters, random thoughts on paper etc into a drawer. Today I started organizing that drawer. It was like a time machine, some of the papers made me travel to very painful or happy moments of my past. I’m glad I started organizing this mess, I imagine that the energy of all that clutter is not healthy for me. I even managed to burn some of the papers that couldn’t be recycled, but the task I have in front of me seems overwhelming.

I organized my bathroom today, it’s a start. And I did a darn good job, too!
The bathroom may be considered a part of the room, as I have my own suite. One cannot go into the bathroom without going through the room, that makes it part of the room. Kind of :p
IndhyRocksss super tired & sleepless
Apparently I don’t have time for the simplest things anymore. Or I don’t have the energy perhaps. Time is slipping away out of my hands and I end up at night feeling guilty for not taking a stronger grasp of it. Meanwhile things keep accumulating, one on top of the other and they refuse to take their place until I place them there.
As everything else, there’s no magical way to make it all ok, so it needs to be one step at a time. Sighs

I did this yersterday but am not 100% completed yet.
claudiajane can't wait to visit San Diego!
I secretly hate coming home because the room I rent is a disaster! It really is the worst/messiest room I’ve ever had in my entire life. Most likely due to the following reasons:
A. I’m lazy- never put away my clothes/papers/books/make up, leave everything in heaps/scattered on every flat surface (bed/desk/ floor/bed)
B. The room is really SMALL! I have a twin size bed on one side, a full size desk on the other side and there isn’t even enough space between them to do the splits. so sad =(
I really want to move into a bigger place but I still need to clean up this place first! Can’t show it if it’s a great big jumble of my belongings.
So TODAY I am CLEANING MY ROOM!
A. Laundry- washing everything (clothes/bed linen/towels) since I don’t know what’s clean and what’s not since everything is in a huge heap on the floor. Putting my fresh clothes/linens in their proper place- my closet!
B. Vacuuming the carpet
C. Dusting my desk/shelves/blinds- yay for lavender scented swifter cloths! If I get really ambitious I may even wipe down my walls…
D. Throwing out all the junk/trash/old stuff
E. Moving my toiletries to their proper homes in the bathroom!
F. Going through all my school work/supplies/etc
I’m off from work today so this is going to get done! I refuse to leave the house before this is complete. I’m already excited to finish this and begin enjoying a super clean/fresh smelling/slightly more spacious room =)
