Worth doing!
Back living by the sea for nearly a year now!!!
Yeah!!!
Worth doing!
Well, I currently live in a city which is right on the ocean. However, you need to drive a few miles to actually get to the beach, out of the city. I grew up right on the water, seeing the ocean from the window in my room and I’ve lived at a slumbering smalltown on norhtern L.I., N.Y. So, I think I’m gonna mark this as done. I will never live far from the ocean, inland is just not in my blood.

I do like to be beside the sea! I decided to take a chance on a grim day and drove the 30 miles to the sea, where I was rewarded by sun & blue skies.
I felt very English: walking the promenade eating chips from the Fish & Chip Shop of the Year (not sure which year), followed by a cream tea. I drew the line at a “Kiss me quick” hat!
Best was sitting at the water’s edge, watching & listening to the waves as they lapped at my feet: the essence of tranquillity.

I grew up in a coastal town but never appreciated the sea until I moved to London (no sea, no stars: there were compensations though!). Then I lived in an old (converted) harbour building and woke to the sound of the sea.
Now I live next to a canal…which was converted to a railway line 120 years ago! Someday I’ll be back by the sea: for now, I’ll just have to visit more often.

Preferably somewhere warm and sunny.
The Alps are quite close to where I live, and we have beautiful lakes here, or so I am told, and I wanna live by the sea.
I have always wanted to live by the sea I now I live close to the sea instead. That’s also fun!
I’m looking for a picture of the sea to remind me of my goal but I can’t find the one I’m looking for. I can see it in my mind but having no luck finding a hard copy of one. Any tips as to where I may get sea scape picuters?

....this will be my reality.
Currently, I am happy living where I am but the sea becons & my retirement will be spent beside it.
Currently, I am sandwiched by the sea and the bay… and for some reason it makes me feel more free than ever? Who would have thought?
Worth doing!
I don’t live as close to the sea as I someday want to but at the moment I live close enough I think :)
Moved to St Andrews for uni and I’m about a few mins walk away.
I love being able to just go for a walk along the beach whenever I feel I need time to escape or go to play football with friends or go at night for a bonfire.
The sea is beautiful and inspiring and I’m so grateful to live so close.. when my 4 years here is up I know it’ll be heartbreaking to move away.
