Re-locate to the coast

Not a bad view to begin the day with …

Am now installed in my accommodation for the summer. Feels kind of wierd to know this is not a holiday but the real thing. Will probably take a week or two to adjust but so far it feels worth all the stress.

Today my friend called to say they were all down on the beach. So my daughter and I just hopped in the van and drove down and spent a couple of hours swimming and kayaking while the sun shone. Felt great!

The picture is pretty much the view as I drive up to my caravan. The view when I get there is even more amazing but there are no pictures on the net of that!!!

It’s now time for me to get up and finish packing to hit the road today!!! Feeling a bit scared – don’t want to get up. But here goes …

No regular email access for a while but hopefully will be able to check in and write some updates and maybe even post some pictures. Wish me luck!

and counting!!! Can’t believe that it is so close. Am very very excited and ever so slightly scared. But mainly excited!

This seems to have developed its very own momentum. I have about a month until my moving date which feels ultra scary but I am also looking forward to moving on and starting to deal with the change. I don’t have anywhere to live as yet but there is the distinct possibility that my daughter and I could be living in a caravan for the summer – am very excited about that! Still quite a lot of things to sort out but just trying to get through one day at a time right now …
