be able to truthfully put a sign up on my door that says "Gone Fishin'"

After 9 months without a break – 3.5 of which, my boss was out of the office and I was carrying the whole department by myself – I finally took off the last week of April 2007! Before I left the office on Friday, I made a “gone fishin’” sign on the color printer, strung it up, and hung it over the name plate on my cubicle.

Now where did I put those nightcrawlers?!?

I need a break.

Gonna find me a little mountain lake - I have a few in mind that are not too far from my house - and I’m gonna take the day off from work. I’ll be out there in the cool of the morning, and all will be right with the world.

There is more, much more to fishing than catching fish.
