I was looking for techniques to better know myself and others. Empathy is the solution i am willing to explore with practical solutions (and not only values).
I would be very happy to hear about tips, exercices and techniques used by others.
If you are interested to hear about my personal experiences and reflections, you can have a look at www.world-of-empathy.org (work in progress…) 2 years ago

I’ve improved. Not to the point where I can call this “done” though.

If sympathy says “I’m sorry” and compassion says “I’ll help”, what does empathy say? “I feel your pain”? 4 years ago

empathy n. Identification with and understanding of another’s situation, feelings, and motives. See synonyms at pity.
I always thought that empathy was more the “showing” side of the understanding… is there a different word for that? I can identify and understand people’s feelings, I just am supremely awful at showing it. 4 years ago
