and I do love juice!!! But now that school’s started, I simply don’t have enough time to juice daily. Actually, daily is a bit much anyway. Three times a week is a good amount for me.
Though I must admit… school consumes my juicing time… and there are too many places to get freshly squeezed juice now, and of course, it’s not cheap. Yikes, it’s so hard to resist. But I don’t spend money on other things, so I shouldn’t feel guilty treating myself on something so healthy!

I actually don’t like juice. I never have. But freshly-juiced juices always look so appetizing, and I know it will be extremely healthy for me. I now have a juicer and am convinced I WILL come to love juice! It’s great because it’s easy to digest and I’ll be able to squeeze more produce into my diet, but that’s the thing – it takes so much! I need to start working harder at hunting sale items. My goal is to juice daily by September so I’ll have something to sip in the morning during my commute. I need to get some more “recipes” too (I’m really bad at the proportions)!

Okay I must admit I’m cheating somewhat in that a new juice bar opened in the shop next door… but its great… !

Yup – so I have been doing this every day for over a month, so I would say it is now just part of my routine. Results? Better skin and just a general feeling of well-being. Definitely worth the trouble :).

I’ve started making whole fruit smoothies instead of juice. I think it’s actually better for me, while achieving essentially the same goal. Just substituted one for the other.

do you buy your veggies and fruit in bulk? its expensive to use so much food for a little cup of juice. i had to take a break because it was getting too expensive and wastefull. i should find recipies to use the pulp for.
edit: my mom took me to an orchard around our town that sells GIANT bags of “checked” apples and pears, which is pretty much fruit that is not good enough to be sold for full price. it was about 2$ for a huge bag of apples and pears. they have dents in them or some bad spots. but for the most part, theyre great and super cheap. they make for a good base. then you can add one or two of the more expensive things from the grocery store.

SJ is luminous
So easy to use. So easy to clean. I’ve used it every day since it arrived and am enthralled.
Carrot-Apple is my favorite so far.

There are so many benefits of drinking fresh juice everyday. The ones that I have noticed the most are:
1. Yummy and unique combos
2. Cut out my coffee addiction because of fresh juice
3. More energy
I got a Breville JE900 and I love it. I juice everything I can get my hands on: apple, canteloupe, parsley, beets, carrots, jicama, ginger, kale, spinach, lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruit, grapes, the list goes on.
I never want to be without my juicer again. You WILL NOT regret this investment!

invested in a heavy duty juicer and reaping the benefits but missing out during my early start days. I want to juice in advance and always have one chilling.
