    In January 2009, I spent a week in Cancun and was able to see the Ruins. I visited Chichen Itza (one of the wonders of the world). It was beautiful, captivating and mysterious. I also got to climb one of the Mayan pyramids in Coba. It was a hard hike, both up and down, but it was worth it as the view from the top was amazing.

    Forget Chichen Itza…Uxmal is the place to go and the wonderful peaceful feeling at the Temple of the Macaws. I wish I was there right now.
