go to the beach this summer

but I’m still hoping. We have enough money left at the end of the month that we can afford to go, but I feel guilty spending it on a vacation when we have so many other things we could put it towards. Erik and I have never been to the beach together, and I think it would be tons of fun (and I’d get my man shirtless, mmmm). Might have to wait til the spring for this.

Summer’s long been over and I didn’t make it to the beach, but I don’t regret it because I’ve had a great last few months anyways…I just ran out of time this summer! I’ll try again next year…I did go to the pool a lot, so I can be happy that I did at least that much!

Summer’s almost over, it’s turning cold, and we probably won’t be able to get another day off together. So, here’s to next summer.

We were supposed to go yesterday, but they kept calling for rain and cool weather. So we decided not to go. It didn’t rain. But we still didn’t go. Erik and I did, however, spend the entire day together, driving around his old hometown, and walking Antietam Battle Field. The weather was perfect (sunny, cool, and breezy), and it was so nice to have a Saturday off together (it’s been over a year). We spent the evening drinking gin and tonics and talking. It was a lovely day. I’m not going to complain about not getting to the beach.

I don’t like to let a summer go by without visiting a beach at least once. It doesn’t even matter where we go. I’ll take any beach, anywhere!

My boyfriend and I are making tentative plans to go to the Outer Banks with his family in July. It all depends on work schedules. 9 people and 6 dogs in one house! Or maybe two houses. We’ll see. It should be interesting, in any case. I intend to bring my camcorder to capture all the craziness.

I didn’t really want to go there for fear that it would be too crowded and overrated. What can I say? I fell in love with Boracay. It bled us dry financially but the whole experience was worth it.

It’s definitely not summer anymore but it seems I’ll be going to the beach here soon. Got the plane tickets already just need to make up my mind where to stay. Aug26 and I’m gone!

weekend plans. Have a deadline to beat and it’s better to save up the money for Macau anyway.

for next weekend…Dive and Trek in Batangas. Not sure though as I need all the money for Macau

because I don’t really like swimming in the sea getting all wet and sandy but I do want to go to the beach at least once this summer. The time spent away from the city and all it represents will be worth it. More so, the time spent with family, time spent alone in the beach reading, watching, just relaxing….mmmm….can’t wait.
