The realtor’s assistant just called me. It’s done!
She said we’re lucky to find a buyer in this market, but we loved the place, and hope the new buyer does too.
It’s been vacant for six months. I’ve been paying the mortgages plus the HOA fees, and now that’s $1200/month I don’t have to spend.

The closing is today. My papers are all signed, and now the buyer still needs to sign.
I hope there are no hitches.

There’s a buyer, there’s a contract, and just about everything’s in order. They have to send me the paperwork, because I’m on the opposite coast, but the closing is scheduled for the end of next week.
Excellent.

We’ve had an offer, made a counter-offer, and accepted their second offer. Papers are being drawn up, the date is set.
I’ll be glad when it’s settled completely.

Someone finally made an offer on the condo! We’d be selling it for less than %75 of it’s appraised value, but that’s just a number in this market. We’ve counter-offered, and now we wait. Fingers crossed!

Even though I’ll see less money from the sale, I just want to get out from under. Nobody lives in it now, and I’m still paying 2 mortgages and a monthly maintenance fee.
It’s beautiful, and this should bring in some offers.
I mean, c’mon, cherry hardwood? Who can pass that up?!

Our Realtor’s assistant notified us that the condo was going to be featured in Sunday’s home section advertising, not sure exactly how.
And yet we haven’t had a single call from anyone wanting to see it. The price needs to come down, alas.

My Realtor tells me that comparable units in my development are selling – but for 15% less than we’re asking. Which would mean we’d only get 60% of the net amount we were hoping for. Yuck.

I know it’s still pretty soon, but I’ve asked my realtor to see how units in my condo complex are selling. I’d love to move soon and love to see the “flow” coming in.
