I gained 120 lbs with my pregnancy and I haven’t lost one pound yet! Today I got on the scale and I’ve actually gained 1 pound. Enough is enough for me. Time to make the time to change.
How to lose my pregnancy weight.
How I did it: I was a overweight when I got pregnant. Then my pregnancy made me heavier. I lost 40 pounds by the third after having my daughter. But then I became ill due to the delivery and got a debilitating heart condition which required high doses of steroids and such.
I didn't diet or workout. As soon as the steroids were no longer necessary, which was about 2 years later, the weight came off. In 2 months I lost 30 pounds without an effort from my part.
And now I am 51 pounds lighter and happy as can be. The best part is no stretch marks, and no flabby skin. Nice and taut. I couldn't be happier.
Lessons & tips: If you are on meds, make sure the meds aren't what's keeping your weight up
Have a physical exam and discuss your weight with your doctor. If your weight isn't from overeating or eating the wrong kinds of foods, than have him check your thyroid for hypothyroidism.
Don't be cruel to yourself. Don't hid. Enjoy life and make it a goal to lose the weight. Find the exercise that best suits you. Don't push yourself. Enjoy the process. Take pictures every month. It will make you feel great to see the difference.
As I said, I didn't have to do any of this because it was my steroids and meds keeping me blown up. However I know this is an excellent start to losing weight.

I have to lose my 80 pounds of pregnancy weight and get back to my old High School weight. I think it’ll take me a little bit to do it. But I’m gonna hit it strong! I’m going to do Weight Watchers.
I’ve also started a weight-loss competition at work. Everyone who wants to enter, puts in $10.00 and weighs in. At the end of 3 months, whoever loses the most gets all the money.
There is some motivation!

Down to 161, five weeks after birth. 21 to go and then we keep going!
Megan Has 12 pounds to lose
I went from 140 to 189 while pregnant, and 18 days after giving birth, I’m down 22 pounds and at 166. 26 to go, and then hopefully 15 more after that!
...at least. I have to go to 2 weddings three months from now so the pooch has to be gone by then!
I guess any remaining weight can’t be considered pregnancy weight, because my son is 3 and my daughter is 20months. I did pretty well though. I delivered over 200, and now I’m about 165, a size 8 (I’m also 5’10”). Working out with my kids is a great way to tone up while spending quality time with them, and it encourages them to be active too.
So far I’ve lost approximately 3 pounds…at least 12 more to go. I’ve only been going to the health club once a week so I need to increase that! I also need to get better about what I’m eating…
