From 14 stone to 9 in under three months – it’s amazing what not eating pies and cake all the time can do ;)

I’ve been so stressed with my finances and some marital concerns, that I stopped my yoga and pilates practice. I unintentionally ended up gaining 15 pounds back, and easily at that. That’s the bad news. The good news is that I have gotten back into the program, going to the gym everyday for yoga, pilates or weight training/cardio classes. I’m feeling better after only two days of the program.
I’m trying the meal replacement options with plenty of yummy but healthy snacks in between, by leansource.com and I also take their supplements, which seem to be giving me superwoman energy levels.
I get the kids off to school, go to my exercise, come home to eat and work, and then spend time with them in the evenings..then work again. Sometimes, I do another yoga session in the evening, too.
I’m looking forward to the result.
ok so i have a lot of “baby weight” at least i like to balme it on that lol…. i am 24 years old and have three wonderful daughters but i have gained alot of weight and havent been able to lose any of it, my youngest just turned a year, i got my tubes tied so i want to be able to appreciate the fact that my body is mine again… in this past month i have lost 20 lbs and dropped 3 sizes but i still have many to go… but i am working on it :) here is a pic of me pregnant with my last daughter ::cringes::
I’m halfway there! I’ve dropped half the baby weight, and expect to drop the other half in the next 6-8 months!
My secrets:
1) Breastfeeding
2) Less sugar consumption
3) Pilates
4) Drinking more water
5) yoga; and
6) walking
I think I was the only person in history to join Jenny Craig, and actually GAIN weight. So…no more Jenny Craig. I am just listening to my body, eating when hungry and stopping when full. I’ve joined a gym and I exercise daily. Most of the time I do 25 minutes of cardio, then work out, and then do another 25 of cardio, then eat a delicious blueberry smoothie and go home. I don’t eat much fat, except peanut butter (my only food vice at this point in time), I don’t drink, and I drink more than 24 oz. of water a day. I’ve lost 15 pounds. I have forty more to go to get to my average weight (not my goal but just to look normal again).
But the more I consciously grabble with this goal, the more weight I am gaining BACK! ARGH! Time to stop worrying about it so much and just make a LIFESTYLE CHANGE, not a diet! Jenny Craig sucks, by the way.
So badly that I won’t even go there to write about it…
However, today has potential.
Not too badly, but not great at all either. I am not eating as WELL as I did yesterday. My husband got up and cooked a good ole’ country style breakfast and I ate it—eggs and sausage. BUT I did not overeat, which is a plus. I had a Clif Bar as a snack and then I just had some lunch, which unfortunately was boxed mac and cheese with two small hamburger patties (very small ones). I didn’t overeat, and I am proud of this. However, the type of food wasn’t what I’d like to eat..it was not very healthy. Down with the southern country breakfast! Argh.
It wasn’t very hard. Unfortunately I skipped breakfast because I was too busy but I made up for it with a Zone snack bar later. Then I had some roast beef, broccoli and mashed potatoes for lunch. I only had a little potatoes—not much. But I did overeat on the roast beef a tad bit, but not too much.
Then I had a zone bar later in the day and now I just had dinner, which was baked chicken and boiled peas. I overate on the chicken.
But at least I ate RIGHT all day long. No junk, not much sugar—I even drank healthy unsweetened white tea all day long.
