Peru, Argentina, Ecuador, Brazil. South Africa, UAE, Egypt. Malaysia, Australia, NZ South Island. These are places I’d like to visit, maybe get one or two countries in while I’m in the area—only be travelling for 2-3 weeks.
I’ve heard lots of people find people to stay with on couchsurfing.com, but I’m looking to find someone that’s already traveling solo in this vicinity-to help coordinate logistics/watch luggage/not see it solo. I’m not into the nightlife scene, but I like to hike, kayak, see things unique to the culture-generally be active in places I may never tread again. Too many of my friends are settling down with the raising a family bit…

Hello, I am a 25 year old male, about to finish a degree at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. Im mature, fun, responsible and will be ready to start traveling on July 2009. I want to go to all of Europe, South Africa, mediterranean, Asia, Austr…..well you get the idea, everywhere! But I’d like to begin with somewhere easy, just get th hang to traveling a bit, maybe Europe or Australia?? I don’t really care as long as I can have an amazing time, try new things and have fun. Im very interested in other people and their cultures. I also drink and smoke, not heavily though!! Everything is ok i guess, in moderation. Im very open-minded and out-going, I have a dark sense of humor and am sarcastic at times but, i think im well rounded. So, want to travel with me??

I really enjoy traveling so am looking for an excellent travel partner. Wanna start with southern african countries in the early next year i.e. 2009 such as Mozambique, Angola etc. I want someone who has a natural instinct of getting around, strong, energetic, logical, idealistic and fun. Should also not be lazy!! and must have an exceptional sense of time. Should also be extra extra extra patient :D. Short tempers strictly not allowed. Not too demanding, am i? Oh and bif, someone who can read and interpret a map would be quite valuable. (not necessary though as I can do this quite well on my own)
