return to Paris

although I’m moving designating it as such temporarily. Just revising how I use 43T: combining some goals to make space for others.

I shall return to Paris. One day :)

I am fortunate to get a work assignment to Europe this late fall. I look at the map and think “I can go anywhere, where do I want to go?” And while I’ve done some major traveling, this town really captivates me for the reasons I mentioned in my first post. On one hand if feels so cliche because everyone likes it so I don’t feel unique and like “just another American tourist”, but it is like stepping into another world for a bit. So I will go again, but this time I really wish I would have someone to travel with, it’s so romantic and it’s tiring always being alone. I’ve thought of moving there too. Ahhh.

The City of Lights changed my life both for better and worse. There is a particular person in my life who was not able to go with me last time and who I want desperately to share that beautiful place with. Je m’appelle Becky et j’aime Paris!

I just returned from there a month ago, my second visit and am ready to go back. Don’t know what it is…most other cities don’t have this magnetism. Well, for me it’s the markets, the cafes, the food, the parks, the immigrant neighborhoods, the chocolate croissants straight from the oven. And the Parisians were very nice too!
