Vote for Ron Paul

because while ideally I’d like to see Ron Paul as our president ((in a perfect world, this would’ve already happened)) I don’t see the logic in effectively throwing away my vote with a write-in.

So that leaves me choosing between McCain and Obama. Ugh, what a decision! I’m guessing I’ll end up settling on McCain for his slight superiority over Obama on economic issues, but gosh. I disagree with him on almost everything else.

That said, I’ve technically voted for Ron Paul before, if you’re counting primaries. :]

here in the goold old state of illinois you have to pick which ballot you need republican or democrat.
im of neither party – but i once swore off all republicians. so it nearly killed me when i had to ask for that ballot and go over to the booths on that* side of the room.
but it was worth it.

I still vote for Ron Paul’s ideas and philosophy and think he was inspirational in our collective quest for true individual freedom and political constitutionalism. Now my support is for Obama.

I was elated to be able to vote and show my support for Ron Paul!!! :)

While in the parking lot of the polling place, my 4-year-old daughter, who is familiar with all the candidates, said pretty loudly “You’re voting for Hillary Clinton!!!” I was afraid someone would hear her and quickly shot back with “No, I’m not!!!!” I asked her if she was 18 who would she vote for, and she said “Hillary Clinton, because she’s a girl.” Wow. Even a 4 year old got sucked in by the gender card. Oy.

Reducing the government’s size, lowering taxes, repealing the Patriot Act, abolishing the federal wasted war on drugs, abolishing the Federal Reserve, getting our troops out of Iraq, and re-legalizing the U.S. Constitution are all things that make me happy as hell.

I have decided to mark “Vote for Ron Paul” as something I’ve done and want to do again. My new Ron Paul slot will be taken by “RonPaulize,” because that’s just more hardcore.

It’s more challenging (not to mention necessary!) to tell everyone about Ron Paul, rather than simply voting for him. My vote is most certainly his, even if it’s as a write-in.

It’s simply time to step up my game ;)
