go to the Farmer's Market more often

A dismal day, windy & gray: I skipped the Farmers’ Market, despite its being the last one to be held outdoors this year.

(The indoor version of the market doesn’t appeal to me nearly as much, so – although I may drop in on it sporadically – I won’t make a goal of it.)

I enjoyed the Farmers’ Market today, as it’s a lovely fall day – near perfect – & the market was wonderful. I brought home four nice tomatoes, a pint of tomatillos (the last of the season), four ears of sweet corn (also the last of this year’s crop), & a half-gallon of fresh-squeezed apple cider. smile

I skipped the Farmers’ Market today & felt badly about doing so, as it’s a lovely fall day – near perfect – & the market would’ve been wonderful (but, with this tooth pain, I’m not feeling up to it sigh).

A dismal day, pouring rain, gray & cold: I skipped the Farmers’ Market (& felt badly for all those who had to go to sell their wares!).

My third goal for the Farmers’ Market is to visit it at least four times over the next six weeks (26 September & 3, 10, 17, 24, & 31 October).

Hmmmm, that didn’t go too well! Instead of three visits, I managed one—extenuating circumstances & all that. So, I’ll retire this goal for now & wait until next year.

this goal on hold for the time being. I intend to visit Farmers’ Markets whenever possible while traveling & will resume my visits to our market here upon returning home. smile

Went to the Farmers’ Market on a morning that was threatening to storm, so I was glad to finish shopping quickly. smile

My second goal for the summer Farmers’ Market had been to visit it at least three of the four times it occurred during July. For a variety of reasons, I wasn’t so successful in accomplishing this goal, visiting just once this month (including today). wry grin
