    IKEA 3 years ago

Although IKEA is not exactly the epitomy of ultra modern design, I have to admit they have some pretty cool stuff. To my utter and complete surprise, me and the boyfriend actually seemed to find furniture we both liked.

Now I just have to find a way to convince him that I’d be able to keep a white sofa clean.

Futuristic Prison, or something far worse? 4 years ago

I am going to re-decorate my bedroom sometime next month. I was going to wait until I moved out to buy new bedroom furniture. But I cannot wait any longer. My room looks fit for a twelve year old girl/prison inmate. I have all white furniture and a steel bed, it looks like some sort of futuristic prison at times. Well, a really clean, warm, carpeted prison with a picture window. But that’s beside the point. I plan on getting a new bed, new mattress, new Dresser/Chest, bench, new side table/nightstand and various decorations. Then my life will be complete. Hmmm…Atleast that part I guess.

    West Elm 4 years ago

I’ve discovered the joy that is West Elm. They have modern minimalist furniture at reasonable prices. I’ve heard bad things about their beds though. Alot of people who’ve bought the simple wood bed frame say that it breaks under “strenuous” use. But i’m more of a floor girl myself, so I’m not too concerned about that.

I’m going to start buying furniture now and put it in storage. I know I don’t have my own place yet. But I want to be totally prepared so that when I leave, I won’t have to start from nothing. I’m all about planning for the future…well, kinda’. I can’t wait to start buying my furniture! Something about decorating/interior design really excites me. Don’t ask me why, i’m just weird.
