Keep a plant alive for more than a week

After struggling with house plants all my life, I finally found the right plant for me. I purchased a little lucky bamboo plant from Target and its looking good so far. Its been 3 weeks and it hasn’t turned brown yet. I still forget to water it sometimes so I must work on that.

My poor plant is looking mighty sad. Some leaves are turning brown and the whole thing is sort of sagging to one side. I feel horrible about it.

My plant is still alive and looking good. I bought a small bag of potting soil and a watering can. Now I have to pot the plant.
Will it go into shock? Will my little plant survive?

I haven’t had a houseplant in over 4 years. Today I decided that I would try to bring “life” back into my life and I bought a nice plant and a pretty blue and yellow pot to put it in.

I haven’t been able to take good care of myself in such a long time, we’ll have to see if I can keep this plant alive (and thriving).

*note to self: buy a small bag of potting soil and a watering can.
