They’re playing on the 1st august in Dublin and now I’m into them I really really want to go, the problem is convincing other people to go as well.
How to go to a Metallica concert
How I did it: I've always wanted to go to a good concert, and there are very few bands I would pay to see. So when I heard that Metallica was coming to Denver, CO on the radio, I made sure to look up the details!!
It just worked out. I had some extra money that month for two tickets and I was able to get the day off work. It took me a month to plan it and it was Awesome!!!! What a show!
Lessons & tips: For me it kinda just fell in my lap, but if you aren't sure if they're worth paying for, I can assure you that Metallica is worth seeing. They sound excellent live.

I live in Australia, and so far they aren’t coming :( I hope they do though, they would be amazing to see live.
Drove all the way to Des Moines to see them live for the first time. Lucky that I got floor tickets. Its been 15 years since I started listening to them. A dream come true!
Last night was amazing! I actually saw METALLICA in action!!! \m/ \m/ \m/
It was awesome! And although I couldn’t feel my legs, my neck nor my throat I wanted it to carry on and on..
Anyways It was a total dream come true. ^ _ ^
I haven’t been to a concert like this in a long time! I am still trying to get used to the idea that I actually went and saw Metallica! :)

When i was 11 or so i used to be into pop music. One day i discovered Metallica. I remember listening to them and not liking them, but i kept listening to them. Before you know it they were my favourite band, and i started listening to heavier stuff like Pantera.
4 years on and now I’m into bands like Trivium, Machine Head and Arch Enemy.
Metallica mean so much to me; if it weren’t for them i wouldn’t be into metal.
Kirk and James also inspired me to learn guitar, but i recently switched to bass.
I know that i NEED to see these guys at least once.
After all they did change my life :)
...and will have fulfilled this goal! I’m so excited, especially now that Robert Trujillo is in the band!
tahti is going to drive for the first time! Pray for me :o
Been there, seen it… and it was a blast!
