Thinking about it, I’m not sure why this is even on my list. I think I was trying to stop myself vegging in front of the computer all evening, but with the things that need to be done for the goals I’m focusing on at the moment, that’s not even an option. I like to check my mail and stuff when I get home before getting stuck into my evening, and deliberately depriving myself of that is totally counter-productive considering I have a contrary streak that immediately decides it wants nothing more than whatever it is I’ve told myself I can’t have :-p So away goes this one – my other responsibilities will automatically continue to limit my computer time anyway.

haven’t been doing well with this. I’d actually forgotten it was even on my list :-p Must try harder!

Spending your evenings house-hunting does wonders for cutting down your computer time.

think I went a bit too far in the other direction tonight – I got caught up doing stuff, and here it is midnight already! Got lots done though – tidying, journalling, proper dinner, and some quality time with the kitties.

that I had no computer at home recently, it was amazing how much I got done in the evenings. Usually, turning on the computer is the first thing I do when I get in the door, and even if I don’t end up spending most of the evening talking to someone, the time is nibbled away by compulsively checking email and 43T every fifteen minutes. So I’m going to try not turning it on until an hour or two before bedtime, after I’ve already done something productive with my evening.
