Clean out my office closet.

It took 3 solid days. I am sooo tired. Whew.

I spent 4 hours working on it last night, and got back to work at 7:30 this morning. I have run out of room in my recycle can, but will store the extra bags inside the house until next week.

Today I hope to be finished with the shredding of income tax paperwork, utility and credit card receipts that went with them, etc. I mean, 1980?? C’mon!

Then I start on the photos….getting rid of what I don’t want. You know, faded photos of mountains in Montana that don’t include people, etc.

Most of what’s in the closet is old tax records. So I dragged all that out. I’m saving what I have to save, but destroying old records (utility bills, credit card statements). It’s a LOT of shredding. What a mess.

But in the meantime, as I’m doing this chore of destroying hotel bills, credit card bills, cable bills from companies that don’t exist any more, I’m thinking, “Why did I spend all this money? And on WHAT?”

But I’m gettin’ there.
