The inane and nonsensical.  — 1 month ago

I’m happiest, the most purely happy, when being nonsensical. Things that bring on the madness are some of the best things out there. Here’s to appreciating those mad mad things and those mad mad people who love them.

I celebrate life and want more friends who are a little crazy and artistic  — 6 months ago

I am surrounded by really nice people- but they are all so normal, they think I’m offbeat when I think I’m toning it down. I’d love to find some crazy artsy comrades….

Worth doing!

My writers group (from Nanowrimo) is crazy as usual and since November is novel-writing month, we all get together online and we go nuts. Those of us who live near each other get to hang out but for the most part, we’re scattered around the world (yes the world). :) I wish I could meet them but I also know that the dynamics would be different in person. I’ve met about 6 or 7 of them so far (they’ve visited me in Hawaii) and it’s been super fun. I’m moving closer to some people in a few months so hopefully I’ll get to meet up with them too.

They’re very understanding and I wish I knew more people like them in real life but I guess it’s more commonly a writer thing…or it’s writers that I connect with more easily on crazy/zany/insane/radical/weird/quirky stuff :D. We’re all eccentric folk!

I met a bunch on Nanowrimo.org :D It’s a writing program/community and trust me, writers are VERY quirky. I felt totally at home and like I found my niche. I made some great friends, 3 of whom flew to Hawaii to meet me :D. Awesome people.
